The work Springs In Mountains by Zhang Gunian was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 33,040.00 (€ 3,486.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Gunian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,143.01).

Die Arbeit Springs In Mountains von Zhang Gunian wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 33.040,00 (€ 3.486,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Gunian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.143,01) versteigert wurde.
