A top price for Zhang Gunian
The work Landscape by Zhang Gunian was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,143.01), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Landscape is even the most expensive work of art by Zhang Gunian that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Gunian wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.143,01) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Landscape sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhang Gunian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
