Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Summer Landscape by Zhang Fu was worth HKD 300,000.00 (€ 26,836.39) to a buyer in May 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhang Fu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pine Trees And Spring Over Hills sold at auction in April 2014 with the realized price of HKD 575,000.00 (€ 53,478.73).

Die Arbeit Summer Landscape von Zhang Fu war einem Käufer im Mai 2011 HKD 300.000,00 (€ 26.836,39) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhang Fu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pine Trees And Spring Over Hills im April 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 53.478,73).
