In September 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal, which included the work Landscape by Zhang Fu. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,926.49), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Fu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pine Trees And Spring Over Hills in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 575,000.00 (€ 53,478.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im September 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Fu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.926,49) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Fu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pine Trees And Spring Over Hills im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 53.478,73).
