Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Enli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in 29 June - in July this year. In the Let Loose: Online Auction auction, the work Container 1 sold for HKD 698,500.00 (€ 81,259.26) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Enli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maidens in May last year with an auction result of HKD 10,050,000.00 (€ 1,193,150.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Enli erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 29 June - einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Let Loose: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Container 1 für HKD 698.500,00 (€ 81.259,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Enli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maidens im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.050.000,00 (€ 1.193.150,68).
