Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Colour Tubes by Zhang Enli was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 1,000,000.00 – 2,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 1,206,500.00 (€ 145,903.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Enli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maidens in May last year with an auction result of HKD 10,050,000.00 (€ 1,193,150.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Colour Tubes von Zhang Enli kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 1.000.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 1.206.500,00 (€ 145.903,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Enli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maidens im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.050.000,00 (€ 1.193.150,68).
