Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Seal Script Calligraphy by Zhang Binglin. It changed hands for a price of HKD 14,340.00 (€ 930.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Binglin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Jingwen in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 34,631.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy von Zhang Binglin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 14.340,00 (€ 930,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Binglin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Jingwen im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 34.631,10).
