Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Zhai Jichang. The price achieved of HKD 63,250.00 (€ 6,191.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhai Jichang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eight Immortals in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 487,500.00 (€ 40,134.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Zhai Jichang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.250,00 (€ 6.191,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhai Jichang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eight Immortals im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 487.500,00 (€ 40.134,16).
