The work Enjoying the River and Streams by Zha Shibiao was worth HKD 3,365,000.00 (€ 368,680.99) to a buyer in July 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zha Shibiao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Visiting Friends In The Hill, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 1,296,000.00 (€ 1,323,469.57).

Die Arbeit Enjoying the River and Streams von Zha Shibiao war einem Käufer im Juli 2020 HKD 3.365.000,00 (€ 368.680,99) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Zha Shibiao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Visiting Friends In The Hill beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 1.296.000,00 (€ 1.323.469,57) versteigert wurde.
