Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Zha Shibiao was auctioned at Christies in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,574.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zha Shibiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Visiting Friends In The Hill in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,296,000.00 (€ 1,323,469.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Zha Shibiao kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.574,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zha Shibiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Visiting Friends In The Hill im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.296.000,00 (€ 1.323.469,57).
