Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trees And Mountains by Zha Shibiao was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,613.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zha Shibiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Visiting Friends In The Hill in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,296,000.00 (€ 1,323,469.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trees And Mountains von Zha Shibiao wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.613,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zha Shibiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Visiting Friends In The Hill im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.296.000,00 (€ 1.323.469,57).
