This artwork by Zha Shibiao achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 354,000.00 (€ 40,461.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zha Shibiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Visiting Friends In The Hill in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,296,000.00 (€ 1,323,469.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zha Shibiao erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 354.000,00 (€ 40.461,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zha Shibiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Visiting Friends In The Hill im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.296.000,00 (€ 1.323.469,57).
