It achieved a price of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 31,787.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Zeng Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the noon, 26 June, 2003 in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 231,439.95).

Die Arbeit Morning On April 17Th, 2005 von Zeng Hao wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 31.787,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In the noon, 26 June, 2003 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 231.439,95).
