In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work April The Sixth 8:00 Pm by Zeng Hao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,869.11), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the noon, 26 June, 2003 in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 231,439.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit April The Sixth 8:00 Pm von Zeng Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.869,11) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Hao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In the noon, 26 June, 2003 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 231.439,95).
