Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Don'T Call Me Baby by Zena El-Khalil was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,492.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zena El-Khalil have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Ou Ali Mama'ou Khabar? (And Ali Has No Idea?) was auctioned for USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,794.17).

Die Arbeit Don'T Call Me Baby von Zena El-Khalil kam im April 2013 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.492,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
