This price was achieved in the auction We Are All Beirut at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zena Assi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ya Beirut, Ya Setadouniah #1,2,3,4 (Oh Beirut, Oh Lady Of The Universe #1,2,3,4) sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 56,956.26).
