Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Phillips held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Zebedee Jones. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,397.00 (€ 1,284.95), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zebedee Jones have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Green) in September 2010 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,228.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zebedee Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.397,00 (€ 1.284,95) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zebedee Jones auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Green) im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.228,79).
