This artwork by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2007. In the Twentieth Century British Art auction, the work The Sky sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 8,077.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape from Ireland sold at auction in March 2004 with the realized price of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,627.24).

In der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art wurde die Arbeit The Sky für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 8.077,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zdzislaw Ruszkowski; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape from Ireland im März 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.767,50 (€ 11.627,24).
