Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Spanish Family by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,172.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2004 the work Landscape from Ireland was auctioned for GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,627.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish Family von Zdzislaw Ruszkowski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.172,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zdzislaw Ruszkowski konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2004 die Arbeit Landscape from Ireland für GBP 7.767,50 (€ 11.627,24) versteigert.
