The work Old Houses by the Sea (Sperlonga, Italy) by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in July 2011. It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,607.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape from Ireland sold at auction in March 2004 with the realized price of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,627.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Old Houses by the Sea (Sperlonga, Italy) von Zdzislaw Ruszkowski wurde im Juli 2011 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.607,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zdzislaw Ruszkowski; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape from Ireland im März 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.767,50 (€ 11.627,24).
