It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,607.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape from Ireland sold at auction in March 2004 with the realized price of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,627.24).
