Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Hot Afternoon (Sperlonga, Italy) by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,451.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zdzislaw Ruszkowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape from Ireland, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,627.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hot Afternoon (Sperlonga, Italy) von Zdzislaw Ruszkowski zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.451,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zdzislaw Ruszkowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape from Ireland beobachtet, die im März 2004 für GBP 7.767,50 (€ 11.627,24) versteigert wurde.
