In April 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary, which included the work Untitled (Robert Wiene) by Zbigniew Rogalski. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zbigniew Rogalski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „TOGETHER“, which sold at auction in July 2020 for EUR 16,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Robert Wiene) von Zbigniew Rogalski zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zbigniew Rogalski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „TOGETHER“ beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert wurde.
