Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Trickster by Zacharias Noterman was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2006. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,920.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zacharias Noterman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Teacher'S Pet, which sold at auction in June 2001 for GBP 3,055.00 (€ 5,074.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Trickster von Zacharias Noterman wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.920,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zacharias Noterman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Teacher'S Pet beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für GBP 3.055,00 (€ 5.074,96) versteigert wurde.
