Auction result well in line with expectations
The work School of manners by Zacharias Noterman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,640.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zacharias Noterman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2001 the work Teacher'S Pet was auctioned for GBP 3,055.00 (€ 5,074.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit School of manners von Zacharias Noterman kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.640,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zacharias Noterman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2001 die Arbeit Teacher'S Pet für GBP 3.055,00 (€ 5.074,96) versteigert.
