Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work A Carnation: 'Hollandia Liberata' by Zacharias Blÿhooft. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,618.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Zacharias Blÿhooft have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2016 the work A Rocky Landscape With Travellers was auctioned for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,654.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Carnation: 'Hollandia Liberata' von Zacharias Blÿhooft zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.618,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zacharias Blÿhooft konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2016 die Arbeit A Rocky Landscape With Travellers für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.654,26) versteigert.
