Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Anthropométrie sans titre, (ANT 149) by Yves Klein was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 1,016,000.00 (€ 931,426.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 27,197,000.00 (€ 31,595,177.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Anthropométrie sans titre, (ANT 149) von Yves Klein kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.016.000,00 (€ 931.426,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.197.000,00 (€ 31.595.177,57).
