Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Throw Stone by Yusuke Hanai. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,623.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yusuke Hanai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 38,323.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Throw Stone von Yusuke Hanai zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.623,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yusuke Hanai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 38.323,23).
