Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Yusuf Arakkal was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,107.02). Admittedly, works by Yusuf Arakkal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Child in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 27,000.00 (€ 19,692.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yusuf Arakkal kam im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.107,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yusuf Arakkal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Child im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.000,00 (€ 19.692,22).
