This work without title by Yusuf Arakkal was auctioned at Christies in New York in September last year. It achieved a price of USD 8,820.00 (€ 9,015.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yusuf Arakkal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Child, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 27,000.00 (€ 19,692.22).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.820,00 (€ 9.015,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yusuf Arakkal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Child beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 27.000,00 (€ 19.692,22) versteigert wurde.
