Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yuri Zhuravsky could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Changing Focus - A Collection of Russian and Eastern European Contemporary Photography auction, the work Two Works From The Mirror Series changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,188.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Zhuravsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Victory Day; Liteyny Perulok; Muchnoi Pereulok; Untitled, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,668.72).
