Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Village In Autumn by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,531.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the River Tverets, which sold at auction in June 2021 for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,277.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village In Autumn von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.531,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit On the River Tverets beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.277,59) versteigert wurde.
