Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Suzdal by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,504.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the River Tverets, which sold at auction in June 2021 for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,277.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Suzdal von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.504,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit On the River Tverets beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.277,59) versteigert wurde.
