In the Russian Pictures auction, the work On the River Tverets sold for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,277.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,500.00. This high result makes On the River Tverets the most expensive artwork by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky that we have observed at auctions so far.
