Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life With Cornflowers by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,101.92). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the River Tverets, which sold at auction in June 2021 for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,277.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life With Cornflowers von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.101,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit On the River Tverets beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.277,59) versteigert wurde.
