Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Evening by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,701.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work On the River Tverets was auctioned for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,277.59).
