Auction result well in line with expectations
The work By The Lake by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,558.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the River Tverets, which sold at auction in June 2021 for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,277.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit By The Lake von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.558,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
