Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Forest village by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,104.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On the River Tverets in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,277.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forest village von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.104,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuri Vladimirovich Matushevsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit On the River Tverets im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.277,59).
