Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The artist's muse by Yuri Lyamin was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 787.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yuri Lyamin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2011 the work Behind the scenes was auctioned for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,402.84).
