This artwork by Yun Bing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Rock and Peonies sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 44,475.95) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yun Bing; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flowers sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 47,105.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yun Bing erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Rock and Peonies für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 44.475,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yun Bing; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flowers im Mai 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 47.105,02).
