Auction result well in line with expectations
The work @ Art by Yuli Prayitno was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 38,000.00 – 75,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,545.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuli Prayitno - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Off Limits, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,400.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit @ Art von Yuli Prayitno wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 38.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.545,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuli Prayitno mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Off Limits beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.400,69) versteigert wurde.
