Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yuichi Inoue achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Ryu - Dragon sold for HKD 781,200.00 (€ 83,639.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 320,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuichi Inoue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shisso (Painted In 1972) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuichi Inoue erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Ryu - Dragon für HKD 781.200,00 (€ 83.639,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 320.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuichi Inoue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shisso (Painted In 1972) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61).
