In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Love (Painted In 1972) by Yuichi Inoue. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 228,000.00 (€ 232,832.61), 52% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuichi Inoue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shisso (Painted In 1972), which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Love (Painted In 1972) von Yuichi Inoue zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 228.000,00 (€ 232.832,61) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Inoue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shisso (Painted In 1972) beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61) versteigert wurde.
