In November this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Ichimo Shumo wo Hiku (A Blind person leads many blind persons.) by Yuichi Inoue. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 192,000.00 (€ 22,530.25), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuichi Inoue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shisso (Painted In 1972) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ichimo Shumo wo Hiku (A Blind person leads many blind persons.) von Yuichi Inoue zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 22.530,25) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Inoue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shisso (Painted In 1972) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61).
