Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Lady Under A Pine Tree by Yu Zhiding. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 4,373.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Zhiding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lmmortals On The Tiantai Moutntain in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,645,000.00 (€ 250,996.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady Under A Pine Tree von Yu Zhiding zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 4.373,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Zhiding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lmmortals On The Tiantai Moutntain im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.645.000,00 (€ 250.996,76).
