Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II, which included the work Studying on an Autumn Night by Yu Li. The price achieved of HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,129.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yu Li have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ink Spirit No. 5 in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,542.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studying on an Autumn Night von Yu Li zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.129,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Li auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ink Spirit No. 5 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.542,66).
