In October last year POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Peony And White Cockatoo by Yu Jigao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 12,000.00 (€ 1,537.75), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Jigao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Longevity in October last year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 64,585.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peony And White Cockatoo von Yu Jigao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 1.537,75) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Jigao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Longevity im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 64.585,46).
