The work Calligraphy-A Self-composed Poem by Yu Dafu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 123,258.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yu Dafu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of HKD 2,190,000.00 (€ 217,178.93).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy-A Self-composed Poem von Yu Dafu kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 123.258,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yu Dafu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Mai 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 2.190.000,00 (€ 217.178,93).
