A top price for Yosl Bergner - as previously expected
The work Kushan (The Deed) by Yosl Bergner was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 162,500.00 (€ 141,847.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Kushan (The Deed) is the most expensive artwork by Yosl Bergner that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Kushan (The Deed) von Yosl Bergner kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 141.847,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden.
