Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven Character Couplet In Seal Script by Yong Xing was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,677.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yong Xing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy After The Chunhua Ge Tie in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 2,584,000.00 (€ 282,727.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven Character Couplet In Seal Script von Yong Xing wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.677,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yong Xing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy After The Chunhua Ge Tie im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.584.000,00 (€ 282.727,74).
