It achieved a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 11,100.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yong Xing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy After The Chunhua Ge Tie in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 2,584,000.00 (€ 282,727.74).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script von Yong Xing kam im März 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 11.100,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yong Xing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy After The Chunhua Ge Tie im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.584.000,00 (€ 282.727,74).
